TURNER MEMORIAL ARTS EDUCATION FUND

The Turner Memorial Arts Education Fund is a financial program set up through the Viscount Cultural Council to encourage and support visual, performing and literary arts education and advancement to members of the communities that support the Viscount Cultural Council.  This fund was first established by the family of Dr. Turner, in memory of his parents, and is named in recognition of that initial contribution as the cornerstone and foundation of the fund.  At this time financing is available to community members under the age of 18, and can be used for a variety of arts education including:

Lesson/Workshop fees
Competition entrance fees
Fine Arts “Camp” fees
Fine Arts Examination Fees
Accompanist fees for competitions and exams
NOT equipment or materials

Completed application forms must be submitted to the office of the VCC for consideration no later than November 10, 2011.
Applicants will be notified in writing by November 30, 2011.  

Second intake deadline:   April 20, 2012
Applicants will be notified in writing by May 14, 2012.
